We are seeking Commercial Lines Underwriters!

We are seeking individuals to work in our headquarter office in Wyalusing, PA or remotely from home, that want to make an impact on the future of a successful, growing insurance company. The commercial lines underwriter is responsible for supporting objectives as outlined in the strategic plan, including the following:

  •  Meeting growth, profit, new business and loss objectives for Commercial Lines business.
  • Line underwriting: knowledge of commercial underwriting guides is necessary to provide technical support (e.g., selection of applicants, classification and determination of proper coverage, determination of appropriate rate or premium, assuring that Company policies and standards are being adhered to); and proper underwriting documentation to support risk selection, coverage and pricing recommendations or decisions.
  • Meeting producer and policyholder service standards.

The commercial lines underwriter is an in-house position with a flexible working location.

The commercial lines underwriter position requires 3-5 years commercial lines experience.

We are seeking a Renewal Underwriter- Commercial Lines!

Our renewal underwriter will be responsible for the following:

  • Meeting renewal retention, rate impact, and profit objectives.
  • Line underwriting: knowledge of commercial and agricultural underwriting guides is necessary to provide technical support, and assuring that Company policies and standards are being adhered to; and proper underwriting documentation to support risk selection, coverage & pricing recommendations or decisions.
  • Collaborate with Production Underwriters on renewal accounts as needed, including but not limited to: decisions to non-renew, adverse underwriting decision communications, and renewal account pricing or other business decisions necessary to balance retention and profitability.
  • Meeting producer and policyholder service standards.
  • Leadership skills. 

The renewal underwriter- commercial lines position requires 3 years commercial multi-line experience, commitment to complete assigned insurance courses, and a valid driver’s license; experience in the industry preferred.

We are seeking individuals to work from home that want to make an impact on the future of a successful, growing insurance company. The Territory Manager is responsible for supporting objectives as outlined in the strategic plan, including the following:

  • Agency management of an assigned territory (recruiting, training, and supervising agents or sales representatives) including agency relationship and portfolio management, field underwriting, and collaboration with the commercial, personal, and renewal underwriters.
  • Develop, manage, and execute the territory marketing plan.
  • Travel to assigned agents and/or as needed.
  • Business planning and budgeting.
  • Meeting growth, profit, new business and loss objectives.
  •  Line underwriting: knowledge of commercial underwriting guides is necessary to provide technical support, assuring that Company policies and standards are being adhered to); and proper underwriting documentation to support risk selection, coverage and pricing recommendations or decisions.
  • Meeting producer and policyholder service standards.
  • Assist in the training and development of new personnel and identifying additional developmental needs of existing personnel.

The territory manager is a remote position which will be staffed by individuals residing in the individual states listed above.

The territory manager position requires a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience, which includes 3-5 years of marketing and/or commercial lines experience. Must be able to travel 40-50% of the workweek, with some overnight stays possible.

We are seeking a Property Adjuster!

As our companies continue to grow, we are looking to add a new position for a property adjuster. The property adjuster is responsible for supporting objectives as outlined in the strategic plan, including the following:

  • Communicating with management on day-to-day operations.
  • Investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling property and casualty claims, interviewing,
    telephoning, or corresponding with claimant and witnesses.
  • Inspecting property damage to determine extent of company’s liability.
  • Preparing reports of findings and negotiating settlement with claimant.
  • Representing the company at mediations and settlement conferences.

The property adjuster is a remote position residing in the tri-state area of Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana.

The property adjuster position requires, at least, 3 years property experience. Casualty experience and Kentucky license a plus.

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst!

Reporting to the CIO, this new role will be a split of hands-on QA testing and leading the QA function
and strategy for the IT department. Our senior quality assurance analyst is responsible for supporting
objectives as outlined in the strategic plan, including the following:

  • Review business requirements and specifications, analyzing all information gathered to expand
    and validate understanding of requested software development.
  • Complete a test plan matrix for each assigned project, create and execute test cases, document
    results and collaborate with software developers to correct issues found.
  • Develop and improve repeatable and reliable quality and testing processes and templates that
    function well within the broader SDLC process.
  • Manage other quality analysts, whether staff or contractors, as assigned.
  • Provide end-user training on applications and IT processes.
  •  Must be process & detail oriented, following QA processes and methodologies developed
  • Fulfill position requirements with leadership based on an attitude of humility and confidence.

The senior quality assurance analyst position requires a minimum of two years related experience.
